Free Copies of Today’s Missal Available
Complimentary copies of the Today’s Missal, with readings and prayers for Mass, will be available in the northeast hallway for parishioners. This booklet is yours to keep. Use your personal copy during Mass and take it home for continued reflection on the readings and prayers you heard at Mass.
REAL GAP Fund
The "REAL GAP" fund helps the parish bridge the gap between the actual cost of educating students at Christ the King School and the income received through tuition. We are grateful for the generosity of many in the Christ the King community who continue to ensure we are able to provide a Catholic education for those desiring it. Currently,
we have raised $87,256 out of a goal $390,000
. Please prayerfully consider what you can do to help support the 2020-2021 “REAL GAP” Fund. To donate, please click on the “donate now” button below.
Face Mask Requirement for Masses
We will continue to require face masks at our Saturday 5 p.m. Vigil Masses. We are asking all peoples who attend our Masses on Saturdays at 5 p.m. to wear masks throughout the entirety of the service. If you are afraid, have health concerns, or are working to keep our school open and Covid free, please consider attending Mass on Saturdays at 5 p.m. where everyone will be wearing masks.
One Rose One Life Campaign
Next week, the Knights of Columbus Council 5045, Christ the King Church will place envelopes in the pews and at the entrances for the Nebraska Knights of Columbus Culture of Life Foundation Annual One Rose One Life Campaign.
All contributions go to pro-life organizations in the area helping mothers, their babies, and the life issues.
You can place your donation envelopes in the collection basket along with your weekly tithe, this week or next week. This event coincides with the anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion on January 22, 1973. Please help us to make a difference with your generous contribution.
If you are interested in becoming a Knight please contact the parish office for more information, we need all men in the parish to support us!
